First, I would like to provide a quick history of the telecom leasing industry.So we can understand where the industry stands in today’s quickly changing landscape. At the inception of this industry, there were no big tower companies dominating the landscape and the carriers were regional companies who, for the most part, had a more personal touch when negotiating telecom deals as the same folks who leased and built your site were the same people you called in the event of any issues that developed at the facility.

So, these firms are forced to push back on leasing values and terms as it can severely impact their financial bottom line.

With that said, leasing to these firms is a long-term proposition, a major encumbrance, and you need to be compensated fairly, or it is not worth completing such a deal.
